Estimates and approval
The automated range is for planning only. A final quote may change after file inspection, slicing, measurement, diagnosis, material review, shipping calculation, or clarification. Taxes, shipping, replacement parts, third-party licenses, unusual packing, rush work, and changes after approval are excluded unless written into the quote.
Customer rights and submitted material
You represent that you own or have permission to share, modify, reproduce, and manufacture all submitted files, images, logos, characters, and designs for the requested purpose. You remain responsible for marketplace licenses and intellectual-property restrictions. 3dprint4.me may request proof of permission or decline questionable work.
Work that may be declined
Requests may be declined when they are illegal, unsafe, deceptive, infringing, regulated, intended to defeat safety systems, beyond the process, or likely to create unreasonable risk. This includes weapons or weapon components, counterfeit goods, unlawful surveillance devices, dangerous pressure or mains-voltage parts, and safety-critical components where printed polymer or the available validation is unsuitable.
Design scope and revisions
Custom-design quotes state included deliverables and revision allowance. A revision corrects or refines the approved requirements; a new requirement, changed dimensions, changed mating object, new aesthetic direction, or added feature may require a change quote. Editable source files are included only when listed. Unless otherwise agreed, the customer receives the approved deliverables for the stated purpose and 3dprint4.me retains reusable general know-how, tools, and non-customer-specific methods.
Printing expectations
FDM parts show layer lines and may have seams, support marks, minor color variation, and dimensional variation. Material behavior, geometry, orientation, humidity, and measurement uncertainty affect fit and strength. Critical dimensions, loads, heat, outdoor exposure, chemical contact, food contact, children, pets, and safety implications must be disclosed before approval. Samples or fit tests may be recommended.
Repair and tuning
Diagnosis is charged for the time and expertise used even when repair is declined or a fault is intermittent. Replacement parts, shipping, extensive cleaning, and damage discovered after disassembly are additional unless included. Backups should be made before service. Firmware, profiles, storage, and modified hardware can contain customer data or settings; the customer should remove sensitive information where possible. Unsafe or heavily modified equipment may be returned unrepaired.
Turnaround
“Under five business days” is a common target for straightforward work after approval, not a universal guarantee. Design iteration, material availability, print duration, queue, failed production attempts, replacement parts, customer response time, shipping, and complex diagnosis can extend delivery. A deadline is binding only when accepted in writing.
Payment
Deposits may be requested for custom design, materials, parts, long prints, or scheduled work. Deposits are credited to the approved total. Work may pause when an invoice, decision, measurement, or customer-supplied item is outstanding. Final payment is due under the confirmed quote before shipment or at handoff unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellation and abandoned property
You may cancel before work begins without a service charge, apart from non-refundable third-party costs already authorized. After work begins, completed labor, consumed material, ordered parts, failed prints within the approved process, and nonrecoverable costs remain payable. Printers, parts, and completed goods left more than 60 days after written notice may be treated as abandoned where permitted by law.
Delivery, shipping, and inspection
Inspect work promptly and report an apparent defect or shipping damage within seven calendar days. Keep packaging for carrier claims. Risk of loss transfers at handoff to the customer or carrier, except where law provides otherwise. Address errors, unattended deliveries, customs, and return shipping are the customer's responsibility unless caused by 3dprint4.me.
Limited correction promise
If delivered work materially fails the written approved scope because of a fabrication or workmanship error, 3dprint4.me may repair, reprint, revise, or refund the affected portion at its option. This does not cover incorrect customer dimensions, undisclosed use, misuse, wear, heat, chemicals, impact, modification, third-party designs, customer-selected unsuitable material, or expectations outside the written scope.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, liability for a project is limited to the amount paid for the affected work. 3dprint4.me is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, lost data, lost profit, downtime, or damage caused by use outside the approved purpose. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Governing law and questions
These terms are governed by Oklahoma law, without overriding applicable consumer protections. The parties should first try to resolve concerns directly and in good faith. Questions can be sent to hello@3dprint4.me.
